Mt. Hebron’s softball team broke through this spring to capture the program’s first regional championship since 2005. A big part of that success was the continued rise to stardom of pitcher Evvie Buehlman, who in her first two years of high school has established herself as one of the top players in the state.
Buehlman, a rising junior, made first-team all-county for the second straight year this spring. She posted the county’s second-best ERA (1.21) to go along with 109 strikeouts in just 60 innings of work.
Between her freshman and sophomore campaigns, Buehlman has compiled a combined record of 17-6.
