The Howard County Library is expanding its online access for customers to include additional magazines, movies and music with the June 2 rollout of three new services — Zinio, hoopla and OneClick Digital.

Library officials say more than 90 magazines and thousands of movies, shows, music albums and audio books will be available free to county library cardholders to download and stream via hclibrary.org. Officials said the new e-content is part of the library's effort to enhance self-directed educational opportunities by providing customers access to resources any time.

Through Zinio, patrons will be able to read e-magazines on a computer or downloaded to mobile devices with Internet capability. Additionally, hoopla is a Netflix-type service for library card holders, and OneClick Digital provides access to a collection of 200 e-audiobooks and 100 e-book classic titles to download or e-readers or other devices.

Details on e-content and how to access it are available at hclibrary.org.
