A construction project to extend Dorsey Run Road is scheduled to begin Thursday, according to county officials.
In addition to extending Dorsey Run Road, construction work will also span a host of improvements to Montevideo Road, including traffic control, erosion and sediment control, storm drains, storm water management, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, new pavement, water and sewer lines, utility adjustments, signing and striping and final vegetative stabilization.
The project is not expected to impact traffic flow through spring 2015, although during the last several months, there will be some necessary road closures and detours via Washington Boulevard, Waterloo Road, Wigley Avenue and Montevideo Road, officials said. Signage and flagging operations will be in place to direct traffic.
The project is scheduled to be complete by mid-October 2015.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
