(Editor's Note: Charges against Frank Ndoki Eyoum have been dropped, according to Maryland Judiciary Case Search. Dionta Lamont Norton pleaded guilty to a gun charge in connection with the incident.)

Two Columbia men were arrested in connection with the assault and robbery of a delivery driver in East Columbia earlier this week.

Dionta Lamont Norton, 20, of the 9500 block of Clocktower Lane, and Frank Ndoki Eyoum, 19, of the 8900 block of Skyrock Court, were arrested after the delivery driver, who works for Happy Garden Restaurant, positively identified the two men, according to Howard County Police.

Norton faces robbery, drug possession and gun charges, while Eyoum faces robbery and aggravated assault charges, police said.

According to police, the driver was making a delivery near Eyoum's residence in the 8900 block of Skyrock Court when he was accosted from behind by two men.

The driver, who was heading to his vehicle, was punched by the men and robbed, police said.

Later, Norton and Eyoum were located and positively identified by the driver as the two suspects.
