Hammond senior Tyler Martin, starting quarterback for the Golden Bears football team, has high hopes for the fall 2013 season.
Starting as a sophomore, Martin completed 30 passes for 553 yards and eight touchdowns, leading his team to a 6-4 record. Last year, Martin threw for 1,000 yards and 17 touchdowns as the Golden Bears finished 5-5.
This year, Martin hopes to help his team return to the playoffs, but he recently took some time off of his preseason preparation to show sports reporters Andrew Conrad and Brent Kennedy how to throw a pass.
Martin's teammates, tight end Brendan Urban and receiver Andrew Comeau, were also on hand to help with the lesson.
