Five local restaurants have been nominated as finalists for the 2012 Restaurant Association of Maryland awards. The winners, which are selected by fan vote, will be revealed on April 15. Read about the restaurants here.

Kloby's Smokehouse in Laurel was nominated for "Craft Brew Program of the Year." Owner Jeff Klobisits, pictured, said craft beers partner well with the restaurant's signature barbecue flavors.
