Oakland Mills holds community forum on education

The Oakland Mills Community Association is kicking off a series of community forums Tuesday, May 7, from 7-8:30 p.m. at The Other Barn with “The State of Education.”

Forum attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of school administrators. Superintendent Renee Foose, along with administrators from Oakland Mills schools — like Oakland Mills High School, Oakland Mills Middle School, Stevens Forest, Talbott Springs and Thunder Hill elementary schools — will be at the forum. Foose and the administrators will also speak on the state of education in the community.

For more information on this or other upcoming forums, contact Oakland Mills community organizer Fred Eiland at omcommunitorganizer@columbiavillages.org, or Oakland Mills board member Reginald Avery at rtavery@verizon.net.
