Missing Columbia woman found dead

The Columbia woman missing since Oct. 1 was found dead in a Columbia hotel by hotel staff on Friday, according to Howard County Police.

Carol Choe, 30, of Columbia, was reported missing by her father, who she lives with, after she told members of her family she was going away for a few days, but did not specify where.

Police said when the family did not hear from her on Oct. 4, they filed a missing persons report.

Police said there were no indications of foul play, and are not releasing specific information about her death.

A missing person Facebook page was started for Choe on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

A website was also set up.
