The East Columbia Branch of the Howard County Library System is hosting a Money Matters Fair for parents, children and teenagers Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The event, which kicks off Financial Education Month, is free and no registration is required. While at the fair, students and parents can speak with representatives from the APL Federal Credit Union, the Association of African American Financial Advisors, College Savings Plan of Maryland, the Columbia Bank, Edward Jones Investments and the Financial Planning Association of Maryland, along with numerous other organizations.
Free tax preparation will also be available for those who qualify.
The event is co-sponsored by Howard Community College, Howard County Public School System, makingCHANGE: A Financial Wellness Center, and Friend of Howard County Library.
