Behind freshman Evan Riss’ six scores, Oakland Mills (0-4, 1-4) took down visiting Meade Wednesday, 15-6. It was the Scorpions' first victory this season.

Jesse Ketchum collected seven saves between the pipes, and Wyatt Neely notched five goals.

The Scorpions are off the rest of the week. They’ll travel to Hammond Tuesday for a chance to grab their first win in county play.

Fresh off their 8-2 victory at Centennial, the Lions were back on the road Wednesday to face Wilde Lake.

Armed with a balanced attack that featured four multi-goal scorers, coach Jimmy Creighton’s squad came away with the easy 20-1 victory. Howard remains the county’s lone undefeated team.
