Atholton, Howard and Reservoir combined to score 35 runs in wins over Oakland Mills, Parkville and Wilde Lake, respectively, on opening day.

The Raiders shut out Oakland Mills, 14-0, scoring seven runs each in the second and fourth innings.

Brady Acker and Jordan Patterson scored two runs each on two hits, and combined for three RBIs. Each player also drew a walk. Sophomore Blake James doubled and senior Dan McCann drove in three runs. As a team, Atholton drew eight walks and were hit by pitches three times.

Acker stole two bases on Saturday, and has still never been caught stealing in his high school career.
