The Atholton and Reservoir baseball teams both won on Friday to stay on track for an April 22 showdown of the last two undefeated teams in Howard County league play.
The Raiders battled Wilde Lake to an 8-5 win, while Reservoir overcame River Hill, 10-5.
Elsewhere in the league, Marriotts Ridge shut out Centennial, 7-0.
Glenelg held off Howard, 9-6, and Mt. Hebron outslugged Hammond, 10-4.
Long Reach earned its second win of the spring, overwhelming winless Oakland Mills, 9-4.
MIAA B Conference
Glenelg Country, the defending B Conference champion, lost for the first time this spring, 2-1, to visiting Severn on Friday.
Kyle James and Dylan Farnella combined to pitch a four-hitter for the Dragons, but Severn's Christian Marciano allowed just one run in the first inning before scattering eight hits and a walk across the remainining seven scoreless to earn the win.
