Howard County Executive Ken Ulman joined local officials Friday to tour the Dasher Green Head Start Center in Columbia touting the importance of prekindergarten classes and the need to make them full-day programs.
Howard County voters will pick a new executive and will choose among fresh faces for several State House seats, as veteran local politicians retire.
As a businessman in Howard County for over the past 30 years, I have come to appreciate the importance of balancing economic, social and environment concerns. It has made Columbia and all of Howard County a much healthier and attractive place to live and to work.
