The new 70,000-square-foot wing of The Mall in Columbia is scheduled to open in November along with two new retailers, according to a news release.

Soma Intimates, a lingerie and beauty product store, and Secolari, a Bethesda-based Italian market and art-dealer, are set to open in the new expansion wing next month.

Soma, a national retailer, will open a 2,600-square-foot store. Secolari, which will open its second location, is scheduled to open in late November and will sell everything from olive oil, pastas, sea salts, rubs, spices, mustards, spreads, tapenades, honey and select artwork from local artists.

The mall also announced two restaurants and one retailer that will be coming to the new expansion in 2014. Zoës Kitchen, a Mediterranean inspired casual restaurant, will open in early 2014. Seasons 52, a grill and wine bar, will open in late 2014.

Arhaus, a home furnishing store, also is scheduled to open next year.

The five new retailers will be the first of 15 to 20 tenants to occupy the space, which includes the location of the former L.L. Bean store.

Ground was broken on the project, which redeveloped 30,000 square feet and added 40,000 square feet, in January. The redevelopment will be an "open-air lifestyle center and streetscape" that will include two rows of restaurants and retail divided by a courtyard walkway leading to a new mall entrance.

The mall also announced the addition of four new retailers to the existing mall, two of which — The Art of Shaving, a men's grooming store, and Wilson's Leather — already have opened for business.

Forever Flawless, a luxury skin-care retailer, will open a 553-square-foot location in late October or early November. Stride Rite, a children's footwear store, is scheduled to open early next month.
