It was another banner year for the Howard County boys golf teams and individuals, achieving unmatched success at the District V and State Championship tournaments. Glenelg junior Steven Segrist won the individual titles at both Districts and States, giving Howard County the last three champions at both events.
Marriotts Ridge's Nick Mejia, a freshman, captured the county championship tournament title. Mejia was also part of the Marriotts Ridge team that finished the fall undefeated on the way to the program's first county championship title.
