Oakland Mills lefty Kyle Madden-Stricker pitched in front of a college scout last week against River Hill, striking out six in five innings and allowing only two runs on four hits.
Madden-Stricker is coming off of a junior campaign in which he went 4-3 with a 3.67 ERA while striking out 57 in 48 innings.
The senior took a moment with us after last Thursday's win to chat about life on and off the mound.

TV show I can't miss
Probably when I pitched the whole game against a team from New Jersey and then I had the walk off suicide squeeze. It was in the Cal Ripken Tournament. If we didn't win that game we weren't going anywhere. 130 pitches and suicide squeeze to win. Maryland Cardinals.
Favorite pregame warm-up song
Amazing, by Young Jeezy. It's like a focus song, I love that song.
Hobby I have or had in the past that might surprise people
I love the outdoors, I just love being outdoors. When it gets nice I'll just walk around. I love to run outside, too. Just do whatever outside, anything. I've camped a lot before. I've only fished once with my dad and we weren't too good at it.
