Elderly man exposes himself to mother, child in Columbia [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from Howard County police reports.

East Columbia

Gerwing Lane, 9600 block, 11:53 a.m. April 24. Witness stated that as a mother and child were approaching the business an elderly white man, who was sitting at a picnic table, exposed himself.

West Columbia

Thistle Brook Court, 11000 block, between 11:45 p.m. April 25 and 6:45 a.m. April 26. Entry gained to an open garage. Cash, credit cards, computer equipment and a GPS unit stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Charter Drive, 10710 block, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. April 24. Entry gained to a dentist office via an unlocked, unattended, front door. Once inside, cash, a check and a credit card receipt were stolen.

College Square, 10300 block, between 9 a.m. and 3:07 p.m. April 24. Entry gained to residence via rear sliding door on the first level. Electronic gaming items, games an iPod Touch and a stun gun were stolen.

Brook Way, 5300 block, between 8 a.m. and 5:52 p.m. April 23. Entry gained to apartment by forcing open the front door. Two handguns, a rifle, jewelry, shoes, televisions and computers stolen.

Gramercy Place, 10600 block, between 6:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. April 22. Entry gained to apartment by using force. Jewelry case and several pieces of jewelry stolen.
