The following is compiled from Howard police reports.

East Columbia

Broken Land Parkway and Stevens Forest Road, 1:30 a.m. March 29. While stopped at a traffic light, the victim heard an unknown man knocking on the window of his vehicle. When the victim unlocked the vehicle door and opened it, the man produced a handgun and ordered the driver to the passenger seat. The victim attempted to exit via the passenger side door but was stopped by a second man and was then struck with the handgun by the first man, resulting in an injury to his face. The second man then duct-taped the victim's hands and guided him to the back seat where he stole the driver's wallet, containing credit and debit cards, and his ATM and cell phone codes. The victim was taken to a drive-through ATM on Dobbin Road, where the man withdrew a significant amount of cash. The victim then had duct tape placed over his eyes and was driven around for a period of time before the suspects stopped, completely searched the vehicle, and then fled. Approximately 10 minutes later, the victim was able to free himself and returned home before contacting police.

Watchlight Court, 9000 block, 3:13 a.m. March 28. Homeowner reported he was punched in the face after answering a knock at the door. Three men then ran to a second-floor bedroom, kicking open the locked door open and taking a safe from the closet containing prescription medication and credit cards. The men fled out the front door with the safe. On Tuesday April 2, Howard County Police announced the arrest of Jordan Ingram, 23, of Innerdale Court in Randallstown, and Dennis G. Smith, 24, of Rompery Court in Hyattsville. Each person was charged with robbery, burglary and theft, police said. Police are still looking for a third suspect.

West Columbia

Cedar Lane, 5600 block, between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. March 26. No signs of forced entry. Blu Ray DVD player and television stolen.

Savage/North Laurel

Henkels Lane, 8900 block, 3:26 a.m. April 1. Officers responding to an alarm discovered a stolen van backed up to the front of Tools & Accessories Corporation with the engine running and the door open. The front door glass windows to the business were smashed out and a chain had been attached to the door and the bumper of the van. It appears after that attempt to open the door failed, the van was backed into the door. Several display tools were missing from the front of the business.

Glen Hannah Drive, 10600 block, 2:50 a.m. March 29. Three unknown men wearing masks, and one armed with a handgun, accosted a victim entering his residence. The victim was forced inside his residence where the men stole his wallet, cell phone and laptop computer. After being asked for more money, the victim was struck on the side of the head with the handgun. The victim's wallet, minus cash, was located in the backyard.

Washington Boulevard, 10100 block, between 2 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. March 27. A rock was thrown through the front door glass of Apna Bazaar to gain entry. Indian movies, pressure cookers and frying pans stolen.

Clarksville/Fulton

Swing Court, 6600 block, between 10:30 p.m. March 25 and 9 a.m. March 26. Entry made to residence via porch. No pry marks observed. A cell phone, checkbook and bank statements stolen. Bank statements recovered in the 7300 block of Guilford Road.
