A Columbia-based business that sells innovative hot and cold packs was named to Forbes magazine's 2014 list of 100 Most Promising Companies in America.
Thera Pearl was one of two in Maryland named to the list, and came in at No. 41.
It was founded in 2008 by Gina Dubbe, who was named to the magazine's list of Women Who Made Outstanding Companies.
The company, which has 18 employees, sells reusable hot and cold packs that are intended to be form-fitting and soft on the skin.
