Three charged with armed robbery in Columbia

Three men, two from Columbia, were arrested early Tuesday morning in connection with the armed robbery of a man walking on Tamar Drive, according to Howard County police.

Police said the victim was walking in the 8900 block of road at 12:07 a.m. Jan. 7 when he was approached by two men, one with a knife. The men took his wallet, keys and phone, police said.

Police said the two fled toward a vehicle occupied by a third man. Police located the car and charged three men with armed robbery, robbery, theft and second-degree assault.

Jeremiah Jermaine Savage, 24 of Woodpark Lane in Columbia, James Thomas Johnson Jr., 24, of Whitmore Avenue in Baltimore, and Dontrell Travon Milner, 21, of Brook Way in Columbia, were charged.
