Hammond High hosts law and politics seminar

The 2013 Howard County annual Law and Politics Seminar will be held Thursday, May 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hammond High School in Columbia for students interested in careers in those fields.

There, lawyers, judges and politicians will give presentations and host a question and answer session for students. Presenters include Judge William Tucker, Judge Ricardo Zwaig, Sen. Allan Kittleman, Howard County Councilmember Mary Kay Sigaty, Deputy State’s Attorney Mary Murphy, Public Defender Janette DeBoissiere, Special Assistant for Minority Affairs David Lee, Attorney James E. McCollum, Jr., nonprofit organizer Kara Aaneneson, among others.
