Grammy Award-winners fun. coming to Merriweather Post Pavilion

Grammy Award-winning band fun. is scheduled to play at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia this summer, the venue announced Monday.

Fun. took home two Grammys on Sunday night at the 55th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

The group won best new artist, and also took home song of the year honors for their hit "We Are Young" featuring Janelle Monáe.

They were also nominated for record of the year, album of the year, best pop vocal album and best pop duo/group performance.

The band is scheduled to play July 20 along with the band Tegan and Sara.

Also playing at Merriweather will be Grammy-nominated band the Lumineers. The group was also nominated for best new artist.

The Lumineers are scheduled to play July 26.

Tickets for fun. will go on sale on Feb. 15, while tickets for the Lumineers are on sale now. Both shows tickets range in price from $35 to $45 dollars each.
