Microsoft announced Monday that the company will open a temporary interactive store inside the Columbia mall for this year's holiday season.
According to a news release, the purpose of the store, one of 32 opening across the nation, is to "provide consumers with excellent choice, value, service and an engaging way to experience the best of Microsoft’s products and services."
The news release said the interactive store, which will feature Microsoft products like XBOX 360, Windows computers, and other products, will offer customers an opportunity to learn more about its products.
Microsoft would not give any details about when the store would be opened.
A spokesperson for The Mall in Columbia expected more information regarding the store to be made available later.
