The Mall in Columbia is inviting community members to its four free "Family Fun Day" events happening every Thursday this October from 10 to 11 a.m. in the in the Lord & Taylor court.

"Family Fun Days" are geared toward younger children, and are conducted by 20-year program veteran and retired teacher Miss Julie.

Here is the schedule for this October:

Oct. 4, Storytime and Sing-a-long with Miss Julie: Program host Miss Julie invites kids of all ages to sing along with her in some classic family songs as well as her own original compositions.
 
Oct. 11, Uncle Pete with Kids: Uncle Pete is a singer-songwriter with over 40 years of musical entertainment experience and over 30 years mentoring and motivating youngsters. All performances feature the “Invisible Band” (digitally self-recorded tracks) for all of the songs.
 
Oct. 18, Storytime and Sing-a-long with Miss Julie: Program host Miss Julie invites kids of all ages to sing along with her in some classic family songs as well as her own original compositions.

Oct. 25, Beowulf T. Wonderbunny Traveling Show of Mystery: Magician Tom Lilly displays his magical powers as he makes balloon creations and performs crowd pleasing magic tricks.
