An Exxon station on Snowden River Parkway in east Columbia was robbed by a man brandishing a knife early Sunday morning.

According to Howard County police, two men entered the gas station at 3:24 a.m. on Sunday. Police said one man stood watch by the door while the other approached the clerk with a knife and demanded money; the clerk complied.

The man with the knife also stole two cartons of cigarettes before the two men fled, police said.

Police are searching for both men.
