Howard County officials to field citizen questions at town hall

Howard County government and public schools officials will be on hand Tuesday night to answer citizen questions on a range of topics, from growth and housing to education and the environment, at a town hall hosted by the Howard County Citizens Association. 

According to HCCA leaders, Department of Planning and Zoning head Marsha McLaughlin, Director of Housing Tom Carbo, Board of Education Chair Ellen Flynn Giles and HCPSS Chief of Staff Susan Mascaro will be among the officials attending the event. 

County executive candidates Courtney Watson and Allan Kittleman will also be there to listen to constituent concerns. 

The event will run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. April 1 and will be held at Columbia's Hawthorn Center.
