Police report pair of footpath robberies in Columbia [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports. Descriptions of perpetrators are included only when the description makes identification possible

Tamar Drive, 8900 block, 2:55 p.m. Feb. 23. Eight or nine people approached victim on footpath. Victim assaulted, phone stolen. Attackers fled on foot.

Walking Path near Route 175, 5:03 p.m. Feb. 20. Group of four to six people approached victim while walking on Route 175 path. Victim assaulted. Wallet stolen.

Hayshed Lane, 8700 block, 8:21 a.m. Feb. 23. Green Nissan Altima stolen.

Cloudleap Court, 8700 block, 3:11 a.m. Feb. 23. Entry gained to residence via bedroom window. Computer stolen.

Murray Hill Road, 7500 block, 12:04 p.m. Feb. 22. Blue Dodge Caravan with Maryland tags 23158M9 stolen.

West Columbia

Little Patuxent Parkway, 10600 block, 8:04 p.m. Feb. 22. Silver 2004 Toyota Corolla with Maryland tags 7BG1564 stolen.

Little Patuxent Parkway, 10300 block, 7:06 p.m. reported Feb. 18. On Feb. 15, five people approached victim. One threatened victim, demanded shoes and phone. Victim complied. Person fled with items.
