Man robbed by acquaintances in Columbia [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports. The Columbia Flier includes descriptions of perpetrators only when the description makes identification possible.

West Columbia

Clarksville Pike, 10900 block, 5:56 p.m. Oct. 16. Late report. Victim went to meet with man and woman. Woman held the victim's arms while man took cash and cellphone from victim's pocket. Suspects, believed to be juveniles, fled. Investigation ongoing.

East Columbia

Twin Knolls Road, 5500 block, 5:50 a.m. Oct. 21. Employee opening store discovered rear window had been smashed with rock. Two laptops stolen.

Majors Lane, 6000 block, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 18. Entry gained to residence by unknown means. Laptop stolen. No signs of forced entry.

Majors Lane, 6100 block, 9:31 a.m. Oct. 18. Employee of Power Craft went to vacant residence to secure rear sliding glass door. When employee entered home, he heard noise in basement. Employee observed a man exit the rear basement door. Nothing appeared to be stolen from residence. No visible damage to residence.
