Like to sing? Columbia Pro Cantare could use you [Clarksville]

If singing the works of Bach, Mozart, Verdi, Strauss, Brahms, Handel's "Messiah," Rutter's "Requiem" and music from the British Isles sounds good to you, auditioning for the 37th season of Columbia Pro Cantare might be just the ticket for you. Auditions are currently in progress for all parts.

Readers often comment on the wide range of topics in this column. The recent passing of my 89-year old Aunt Effie Mae Scharff produced increased contact with extended family and friends. The Lady Hawks softball team of River Hill High is raising money by recycling inkjet cartridges, toner cartridges, iPods/MP3 Players, GPS devises and digital cameras.
