The annual child care and preschool information fair Children on Board will be held right here in Clarksville in the Ten Oaks Ballroom for parents, grandparents, guardians and child care providers to get information on services for young children.
The event will be held Jan. 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free; however, you are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Howard County Food Bank. The helpful 2014 Early Parents' Guide to Howard County will be distributed free of charge.

St. Louis Knights of Columbus will hold a Longaberger Basket Bingo in the church social hall on Jan. 31 to raise funds for various charities. Doors open at 6 p.m. Games begin at 7 p.m. The event features filled Longaberger baskets, 20 regular games, special games, raffles, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. The cost is $20. Extra game packets are $5.

Congratulations to Clarksville Middle School 6th grader Neha Banerji and 8th graders Molly Goldstein and Amanda Zhu on having photos selected for the Snap! 24 Hours exhibit at the Columbia Arts Center. All photos were taken by the students on Nov. 5 and reflect everyday life of the students. Amanda's "Tic-Tok" was used on the exhibit invitations.
Margaret and Randy Walton had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's celebration in Florida. Among the highlights were a vocal solo Christmas Eve by granddaughter Ann Margaret Williams. Photos indicate that Annie is growing up fast and beautiful.
