After a strong fifth-place finish at the Howard County Invitational, River Hill's Chris Heydrick is off to a fast start this fall. The junior runner is coming off an impressive 2012 season, when he finished fourth at the county championship, fifth at the 3A regional and 14th at states.
This season, the speedy Heydrick will look to repeat as a Howard County Times/Columbia Flier first-team all-county selection.
Before getting back out on the course, Heydrick took some time to discuss his interests outside the high school cross country arena.
