Meet the author

Brian Boyle will read from, sign and discuss his book, "Iron Heart: The True Story of How I Came Back from the Dead," at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at the Howard County Library's Miller branch, 9421 Frederick Road. He recounts how he finished the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon in 2007, just three years after being in a medically induced coma after suffering a nearly fatal car accident at age 18. English conversation The Miller branch of the Howard County Public Library, 9421 Frederick Road, offers "Let's Get Together: English Conversation Club," a chance for those for whom English is a second language, to practice speaking and understanding English in a group setting.
