The Domestic Violence Center of Howard County sponsors The Legacy Project Step Show and 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Howard County Sports Center, 6742 Dorsey Road in Elkridge. This free event will feature groups performing a variety of dance styles, a single elimination basketball tournament, free food and prize drawings. Information: 410-997-0304.
The Maryland Art League will hold a meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Howard County Center for the Arts, 8510 High Ridge Road. English conversation The Miller branch of the Howard County Public Library, 9421 Frederick Road, offers "Let's Get Together: English Conversation Club," a chance for those for whom English is a second language to practice speaking and understanding English in a group setting.
