National Dance Day The Columbia Association invites members and residents to celebrate National Dance Day from noon to 12:45 p.m. at the Supreme Sports Club Arena, 7080 Deepage Drive in Columbia. National Dance Day is a grassroots initiative that promotes health and wellness nationwide. Association Zumba instructors will lead participants through choreographed dances and Zumba dances. Registration begins at 11 a.m. Event is open to those 14 and older. $10 admission fee for non-members, which will be donated to the Coalition for a Healthy Maryland. BikeAbout rescheduled The Columbia Association's 11th annual BikeAbout and Town Center walking tour will be held Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Downtown Columbia Lakefront. Participants may begin the ride anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., the walking tour begins at 10:30 a.m. This year's event will take riders through Town Center, Wilde Lake, Harper's Choice and Hickory Ridge, highlighting history in Harper's Choice and the Middle Patuxent Valley and traversing some of the most picturesque pathways in Hobbit's Glen and Clary's Forest. Walkers will follow a route to Oakland Mills; explore a historic cemetery and outdoor sculpture; as well as take in the art and architecture in Town Center.
