Library's HiTech lab [Pictures]
A new space at the Savage branch of the Howard County Library is giving teens the opportunity to experiment with the latest digital technology.
And the HiTech digital learning lab has developed a following, with some students coming every afternoon, three days a week, for hours at a time.

Jessica Blankson, 13, left, and Amanda Carpio, 13, both from Patuxent Valley Middle School, use the iPads in the lab for both social media and for homework. A STEM (science, technology engineering and math) lab at the Savage branch of the Howard County Library allows kids to explore digital music, video and media.
