2009: Community Athletic Program

Howard County Police launched their summer Community Athletic Program (CAP), a traveling recreation trailer with sports gear, games and video games, staffed by school resource officers, which will visit a different neighborhood each day of the week. Police Chief William McMahon, at podium, was joined by County Executive Ken Ulman, left, and U.S. Attorney for Maryland Rod Rosenstein, center, at Cedar Lane Park, where the trailer was stationed.
