Harford deputies break up weekend teen party in Forest Hill

The Harford County Sheriff's Office responded to a large party with teenagers in Forest Hill over the weekend, spokesman Edward Hopkins said.

About 30 people between the ages of 18 and 20 were found at a party in the 1700 block of Cannongate Road late Friday night, Hopkins said.

Charges are pending against one person, who allegedly had drugs, Hopkins said.

"Most of those present ran into the woods as deputies arrived at the home. The owner of [the] home, I have been told, was out of the country and I was further told we have not seen any habitual incidents at the home that I am aware of," Hopkins said.

A police report was not available as of Tuesday and Hopkins did not know if anyone else was arrested or apprehended.
