Two injured, one flown to shock trauma after Pylesville crash

A driver was flown to a trauma center after an accident in Pylesville early Friday morning, Maryland State Police said.

The driver of a Subaru Forrester was turning left from Onion Road onto Route 136 at about 6 a.m. and failed to yield to the driver of a Volkswagen Jetta traveling north on Route 136, Cpl. Dudek of Maryland State Police said.

The driver of the Subaru was flown by Medevac to Shock Trauma with non-life-threatening injuries, he said.

The driver of the Jetta was also taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center as a precautionary measure and later released, he said.

No one else was involved in the crash. The identities of the victims were not available as of Friday afternoon, he said.
