A roofer was flown to shock trauma Tuesday after he fell while working on a house on Rosecroft Court in Forest Hill, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.
Emergency personnel responded to the 700 block of Rosecroft Court at about 10:10 a.m.
"The male was alert but bleeding from his injury," Sheriff's Office spokesman Eddie Hopkins said.
Witnesses at the scene said the roofers were employed by Clearview Home Remodeling of Parkville.
Officials do not know how the man fell and there was a language barrier between the victim and rescuers.
Hopkins did not know who the man was but said he was in his 20s. The Maryland Occupational Safety and Health division took over the investigation.
