Historically, May has been a busy month in Aberdeen. It continues to be.

There was Law Day Celebration at the Senior Center at 1 p.m. on May 1.

At the Aberdeen Senior Center at 7 Franklin St., May also got off to a fast start on May 1 with basic knit and crochet from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

May 1 also was busy at the center with table shuffleboard from 12:15 to 3 p.m.

May 1 had blood pressure screenings from 10 a.m. to noon.

On Friday, May 2, there was Men's Discussion Group from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. There was also quilting studio from 9 a.m. to noon.

On Monday, May 5, there was basic computer skills training from 10 to 11 a.m.

Tuesday, May 6, the Golden Age Club met from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Diabetes Support Group met from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with "Did You Know Series" by A. Cerruto.

On May 8, there was basic knit and crochet from 12:30 to 2 p.m. There was also table shuffleboard from 12:15 to 3 p.m.

Today (Friday), the quilting studio will fill the morning from 9 a.m. to noon.

On Monday, May 12, there will be basic computer skills from 10 to 11 a.m.

Tuesday, May 13, will be the meeting day for the Golden Age Club from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Again, on Thursday, May 15, the basic knit and crochet group will meet from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Table shuffleboard will be played from 12:15 until 3 p.m.

On May 16, the quilters will meet again at the Senior Center from 9 a.m. to noon. Also the Veterans Discussion group will meet from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.

On Monday, May 19, there will be basic computer skills from 10 to 11 a.m.

The Golden Age Club will meet again on Tuesday, May 20, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Diabetes Support Group will also meet from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

For all those busy people who do basic and knit and crochet, there will be a meeting on May 22 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Others who play shuffleboard, there will be a meeting for fun at 12:15 to 3 p.m.

Off to another Friday, on May 23, there will be a quilting studio from 9 a.m. to noon. There will also be a book discussion from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. with "Whistling past the Graveyard."

May 26 the Senior Center will be closed for the holiday.

Again on Tuesday, May 27, the Golden Age Club will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

On Thursday, May 29, the basic knit and crochet group will meet from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Table shuffleboard will meet from 12:15 to 3 p.m.

Completing a very busy month of May, quilting studio will meet on Friday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to noon.
