The North Harford wrestling team flexed a bit of muscle Friday night in an UCBAC Susquehanna (lower) Division dual meet with visiting North East.

The Hawks won nine bouts, all by pins (seven) and forfeits, en route to 54-24 win.

Picking up the pins were Dominic Barbera, in 30 seconds over Bobby Potter at 113; Austin Mitchell, in 1:13 over Scott Butenewicz at 120; Trevor Smith, in 1:10 over Tony Nault at 138; Kevin Griffin, in 3:27 over Justin Stewart at 152; Greg Fiackos, in 1:35 over Chris Pippin at 160; Angelo Koulatsos, in 1:50 over Kyle Bryant at 170; and Justin Reinecke, in 2:55 over Ian Birl at 285.

Forfeit winners were Keith Schmidt at 126 and Patrick Lawrence at 220.

Panthers beat Warriors

Havre de Grace visited Perryville Friday in a make-up non-division dual meet and it was the Panthers who were victorius, 44-21. The meet had two double forfeits and three more by Havre de Grace and two by Perryville.

Leading Havre de Grace, Jacob Nuce pinned Kris Campbell in 1:14 of the 138 match. Shane Andrews also had a contested win for the Warriors, beating Jarrett Bowman, 8-1, at 120. The other Havre de Grace wins came by forfeit for Ben Morris and Zach Schulz at 160 and 170, respectively.

The Panthers wins were highlighted by pins in three of the heaviest weight classes. Dustin Krahn stopped Dwayne Dixon in 2:33 at 182; Kaine Delancey pinned Patrick Brinsfield in 4:45 at 195; and Aengus Vervier pinned Chase McCann in 1:50 at 220.

Perryville's other contested wins came at 113, with Ryan Berger decisioning Luke Butler, 7-4, and at 152, with Zac Zacerous tech falling Jacob Sweigart, 19-2.

Collecting forfeits for Perryville were Jacobo Negron, 126; Chris Brown, 132; and Logan Kelly, 285.

Other scores

Also Friday, Bel Air and Patterson Mill were easy winners in non-division meets. Bel Air beat visiting Edgewood, 78-6, and Patterson Mill won at Joppatowne, 71-8.
