A 20-year-old woman was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center following an early morning accident at Route 7 and Fashion Way in Joppa.

An early-morning crash on Route 7 in Joppa sent a 20-year-old woman to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and blocked traffic, fire officials and police said.
The accident was reported at 5:40 a.m. at Fashion Way and left the street completely blocked, according to reports from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, which responded.
The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Sgt. Reiner of Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack said. He did not have any more details on the crash.
The woman was taken to Shock Trauma by a Joppa-Magnolia Fire Company ambulance, the fire company reported.
The victim was quickly extricated from the collision, according to the fire company.
