My adored old Chihuahua passed over the rainbow bridge during the night. I prayed for a painless and peaceful passing and hope it was. In the midst of my sadness and grief I would like to thank a few wonderful people.
To the staff of Madonna Veterinary Clinic, thank you for your kindness, patience and indulgence when I was not at my best. Dr. Knickman exemplifies a kind and competent veterinarian and his staff reflects those qualities.
To Animal Emergency Hospital on Harford Road, I so appreciate your treatment of Little Man, your support of me, and your willingness to tolerate my endless questions, crying on your shoulder and for offering me realistic choices, options and never pushing me to make decisions I was not comfortable with.
To Barbara and Greg Bertling, who run Fallston Animal Rescue Movement, and brought this wonderful dog into my life, I appreciate and acknowledge the thousands of dogs you have saved from euthanasia over the past 10 years, but on this night I want you to know that saving the life of one old Chihuahua has made all the difference in mine.
