North Harford, Patterson Mill get girls hoop wins

Girls basketball action was a bit light Wednesday, but for those who played, it was a good night for the North Harford Hawks and Patterson Mill Huskies.

The Hawks traveled to Harford Tech to battle the Cobras in a UCBAC Susquehanna Division game postponed a night earlier.

North Harford beat the Cobras, 46-35, behind the 23-point scoring effort of Annie Wernig. Allie Whiticre added 10 points for the Hawks.

Huskies beat Cougars

Patterson Mill's win came over visiting Fallston, 51-20, in Chesapeake Division play. Qalea Ismail led all scorers with 20 points, as eight players hit the Huskies scoring column.

Logan Gasior led Fallston with nine points.

Patriots fall again

For the second time this week, John Carroll was on the losing end of an IAAM B Conference game.

Wednesday loss came at Seton Keough, where the Patriots fell, 44-30.

Marta Moix scored 13 points to lead the Patriots and Rita Watson reached double figures with 10.
