Fallston crash sends one to trauma center Sunday evening

A crash on Fallston's Connolly Road sent one person to a trauma center Sunday evening, Harford County fire and rescue officials said.

The single-vehicle crash, reported at 6:25 p.m., left one person trapped, Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association spokesman Rich Gardiner said.

The crash happened north of Route 152 near the Humane Society of Harford County.

The driver, who was a woman, was taken by Maryland State Police helicopter to a trauma center in serious condition, Fallston Volunteer Fire Company spokesman Dave Williams said.

"After removing the roof and door of the vehicle, the driver was extricated," he said.

A male passenger was able to leave the car without help and refused medical transport, Williams said.

Gardiner said the vehicle had rolled over multiple times.
