Traffic was snarled on northbound Interstate 95 in Harford County for over an hour Friday morning following a crash involving a tractor trailer and passenger vehicle, Maryland State Police said.
The crash occurred around 9:45 a.m. at mile marker 78.9, just north of the Route 24 interchange in Abingdon, according to Cpl. Sauer of the JFK Barrack in Perryville.
Sauer did not have any information on injuries; however, he said all four northbound lanes of the highway were closed while the vehicles were removed and police, fire and medical personnel worked at the scene.
Sauer expected the highway to reopen around 11 a.m.
At 11:10 a.m., Maryland Transportation Department cameras showed traffic flowing in both directions without delay.
