The southbound lanes of I-95 on the Millard E. Tydings Memorial Bridge are open after being closed for about 20 minutes because of a vehicle accident Sunday afternoon.

Maryland State Police said the accident was a hit and run, and are still looking for the suspect vehicle.

Dispatcher Parks of the John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway Barrack in Perryville said a male and female in a "passenger vehicle" that was hit while on the bridge were transported via ambulance to a local hospital – she did not release the name of the hospital to which the victims were taken.

Parks said both victims had minor injuries.
