The Patterson Mill Huskies earned a double victory at the Magnolia Middle pool Thursday night, topping Havre de Grace, 109-77, and Aberdeen, 117-69, in a swimming tri-meet.
Havre de Grace defeated Aberdeen, 95-85.
Patterson Mill's Ayana Phillips won the girls 100-yard breaststroke and 100-yard freestyle, while teammate Savannah Dawson took top honors in the girls 200-yard freestyle.
Jordan Johnson won the boys 200-yard medley for the Huskies, while Patterson Mill's Delany Miller won the girls 200-yard medley.
Aberdeen's Alec Steiger won both the boys 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard freestyle. Justin Nengel won the boys 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly for the Eagles, while Aberdeen's Sabrina Guiou won the girls 100-yard butterfly.
Aberdeen swept the 500-yard freestyle, with Tyler Hutchins winning the boys event, and Lauren Drumm winning the girls race. Drumm Also beat the field in the girls 100-yard backstroke.
Havre de Grace's Robert Bringardner won the boys 100-yard breaststroke, and fellow Warrior Paul Butz took first in the boys 100-yard freestyle. Carrie Amato won the girls 50-yard freestyle for Havre de Grace.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
