With wins Monday, the Bel Air, C. Milton Wright and Havre de Grace softball teams are moving on to the semifinal round of regional play.

The Bel Air girls advanced to the 3A North softball semifinal round with a Monday road victory, as the 13th-seeded Bobcats topped 12th-seeded Towson, 10-0, in the quarterfinals.

The Bobcats will move on to play top-seeded host Eastern Technical Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Monday's game was halted after six innings by the 10-run mercy rule.

Bel Air hurler Rayn Gibson tossed a no-hitter, striking out 14 and issuing one walk over six innings of work.

Bel Air's Bethanie Cook was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and one RBI, while Gibson ripped two triples and had three RBIs. Jen Schofield blasted a pair of triples and drove in three runs, while Taylor Hensley posted two RBIs. Bailey Gasior had a triple and scored once and Kelsea Hilditch scored one run for Bel Air.

C. Milton Wright moving on

The third-seeded C. Milton Wright Mustangs won their 3A North showdown with visiting sixth seed Aberdeen Monday, handing the Eagles a 12-5 loss.

The Mustangs will host seventh-seeded Patapsco at 4 p.m. Wednesday In the 3A North semifinal round.

CMW's Catherine Kim was 2-for-5 with a double, a triple, three RBIs and one run to lead the Mustangs at the plate. Kyralee Comeaux was 3-for-4 with a double, three runs and one RBI and Lindsay Ibberson was 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Danielle DeAgostino blasted a double.

Mustang pitcher Morghan Fulton tossed a complete game to earn the win.

Aberdeen's Sarah Tyc went 2-for-3 with two runs, while Abby Harrison was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer.

HdG blasts Pikesville

Playing at home Monday in the second round of the 1A North regional tournament, the Havre de Grace Warriors stormed to a 22-0 win over seventh-seed Pikesville.

The Warriors' victory sets up a regional semifinal game with third-seeded Perryville at Havre de Grace Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Havre de Grace's hot bat belonged to Taylor Smith, who was 4-for-4 with a double, a home run and a team-best five RBIs. Amanda Lewis went 1-for-3 with a double and four RBIs, while Lindsey Fenner was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Hailey Bethke was 1-for-4 with a double and three RBIs and Riley Arnold went 2-for-3 with a triple. Olivia Dubois was 2-for-2 with a double.

Havre de Grace starter Megan Thompson went three innings to get the win, striking out six, walking two and allowing three hits. Ashley Algard closed out the game for the Warriors, holding Pikesville hitless and recording one strikeout over two innings.

Harford Tech knocked out

The third-seeded Harford Tech Cobras were knocked out of the 2A East District VII semifinals Monday, losing 10-1 to second-seeded host Rising Sun.

Harford Tech's Karizma Hockaday was 1-for-3 with a triple, and Kaitlyn Vane was 2-for-3 with a double.
