The North Harford Hawks took down C. Milton Wright in softball Wednesday for the second time this season, beating the host Mustangs, 13-4.
The Hawks kicked off Wednesday's game with two homers in the first, the first a two-run shot by Alexis Lyttle and the second a solo job by Julianne Caughron.
North Harford followed with three more runs in the second as Kayla Delcostello, Allyson Meil and Lyttle all came through with RBI hits.
In the fourth, the Hawks posted four runs with singles from Lyttle, Caughron, Kaitlin Horsey and doubles from Ada Henize and Hunter Harbaugh.
Lyttle, Caughron, Meil, Kelly Harkins and Rebecca Simon all notched hits in the fifth inning, helping the Hawks score their final three runs.
Meil finished the game 3-for-6 with three runs, while Lyttle was 3-for-5 with four RBIs and four runs. Caughron was perfect at the plate, going 5-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs.
Lyttle tossed a complete game for the Hawks, allowing four runs on seven hits, striking out six and issuing zero walks.
Rising Sun over Bel Air
The Bel Air Bobcats suffered a 3-0 defeat to the host Rising Sun Tigers.
Bel Air's Rayn Gibson went 3-for-3 in the loss, while teammate Leah Lozzi ripped a base hit.
Gibson started for Bel Air and went the distance in the loss.
Rising Sun plated two runs in its first at-bat, and scored the game's final tally in the fourth.
Havre de Grace knocks off Pville
In the second matchup between the two rival teams this season, Havre de Grace came out on top again on Wednesday, beating the visiting Perryville Panthers, 8-1.
In their last matchup, Havre de Grace came back from two runs down in the seventh to beat the Panthers, 8-4.
Aberdeen over Patterson Mill
In a game played at Aberdeen Wednesday, the Eagles triumphed over the Patterson Mill Huskies, 4-2.
